Interior Trim Remover

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the front seats.
    Refer to: Front Seat (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the bolt cover and bolt.
    • Release the clips and remove the LH floor console side panel extension.
  1. Release the retainers and remove the LH floor console side trim panel.
    Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
  1. Release the retainers and remove the RH floor console side trim panel.
    Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
  1. Position the carpet aside.
  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  1. Remove the RH floor console bolts.
    • Remove the bolt.
      Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)
    • Remove the bolts.
      Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)
  1. Position the carpet aside.
  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  1. Remove the LH floor console bolts.
    1. Remove the bolt.
      Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)
    1. Remove the bolts.
      Torque: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)
  1. Remove the floor console.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Seatbelt Height Adjustment

    WARNING: Position the seatbelt height adjuster so that the seatbelt rests across the middle of your shoulder. Failure to adjust the seatbelt correctly could reduce its effectiveness and increase the risk of injury in a crash.

    Adjust the height of the shoulder belt so the belt rests across the middle of your shoulder. Slide the adjuster up to raise the belt. Press the button and slide it down to lower the belt.
