Removal

Front Pedestrian Alert System Speaker

Remove the front bumper cover.
Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

Disconnect the electrical connector.
-
Remove the fasteners and the front pedestrian alert system speaker.
Torque:
71 lb.in (8 Nm)
Rear pedestrian alert system speaker
-
Remove the rear underbody closeout panel.
-
Remove the pin-type retainers.
-
Remove the screws.
Torque:
13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)
-
Remove the nuts.
Torque:
55 lb.in (6.2 Nm)
-
Disconnect the electrical connector and separate the wiring guides.
-
Remove the nuts and the rear pedestrian alert system speaker.
Torque:
71 lb.in (8 Nm)
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the luggage compartment floor cover.
Release the clips and the luggage compartment side trim panel...
Other information:
Summer tires provide superior performance
on wet and dry roads. Summer tires do not
have the Mud and Snow (M+S or M/S) tire
traction rating on the tire side wall. Since
summer tires do not have the same traction
performance as All-season or Snow tires, we
do not recommend using summer tires when
temperatures drop to approximately 45°F
(7°C) or below (depending on tire wear and
environmental conditions) or in snow and ice conditions...
