Lincoln Aviator: Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 3.0L EcoBoost/3.0L EcoBoost – Hybrid (BQ) / Removal and Installation - Air Cleaner Intake Pipe

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the front undershield.
    Refer to: Engine Front Undershield (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the front bumper.
    Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
  1. Pullout the top air deflector.
    Torque: 33 lb.in (3.7 Nm)
  1. Loosen the bolts and remove the air intake venturi.
    Torque: 33 lb.in (3.7 Nm)
  1. Detach and remove the air cleaner intake pipe form the air cleaner.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
