Removal

1. Remove the liftgate moulding.
   Refer to: Liftgate Moulding (501-08 Exterior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
   

1. 
   Remove the liftgate release switch.
   
   1. Disconnect the liftgate release switch electrical connector.
      
   2. Release the liftgate release switch retaining tabs.
      Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
   3. Remove the liftgate release switch.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
