Removal

  1. Remove the air cleaner intake pipe.
    Refer to: Air Cleaner Intake Pipe (303-12 Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 3.0L EcoBoost/3.0L EcoBoost – Hybrid (BQ), Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the CAC outlet pipe.
    Refer to: Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Outlet Pipe (303-12 Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 3.0L EcoBoost/3.0L EcoBoost – Hybrid (BQ), Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the RKE exterior sounder.
    1. Disconnect the RKE exterior sounder electrical connector.
    1. Remove the RKE exterior sounder.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Fastening the Seatbelts

    The front outboard and rear safety restraints in the vehicle are combination lap and shoulder belts.

    Insert the belt tongue into the proper buckle (the buckle closest to the direction the tongue is coming from) until you hear a snap and feel it latch. Make sure that you securely fasten the tongue in the buckle.
