Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the floor console.
    Refer to: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the bolts the front duct section.
    Torque: 25 lb.in (2.77 Nm)

  1. Remove the bolts and the second row blower motor control module.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
      Torque: 71 lb.in (8.0 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Fastening the Seatbelts

    The front outboard and rear safety restraints in the vehicle are combination lap and shoulder belts.

    Insert the belt tongue into the proper buckle (the buckle closest to the direction the tongue is coming from) until you hear a snap and feel it latch. Make sure that you securely fasten the tongue in the buckle.
