Lincoln Aviator: Second Row Climate Control / Removal and Installation - Second Row Temperature Door Actuator

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.


  1. Fully lower the glove compartment.
    1. Disconnect the check strap.
    1. Push the stop tabs inward.
  1. Disconnect the passenger footwell air discharge temperature sensor.

  1. Remove the push pins, the nut and the RH insulation panel.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  1. Remove the screws and the passenger side floor duct.

  1. Remove the screws and the second row temperature door actuator.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    The intelligent access key must be within 3 ft (1 m) of the door or luggage compartment you intend to lock or unlock.
