	307-745 Installer, Park Sleeve Roll Pin
	307-781 Needle bearing remover/Installer
	307-788 Installer, sleeve
	307-789 Installer, sleeve

NOTE: This step is only necessary if the transmission case is being replaced. A new transmission case will not come with a vent tube.
Using the special tool, install the vent tube in the transmission case.
Use Special Service Tool: 307-549 Installer, Shift Shaft Fluid Seal.

NOTE: This step is only necessary if the transmission case is being replaced.
Using a brass punch, install the ball plug (7E195) flush with the transmission case surface.

Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicles

Using the special tools, install the inner output shaft bearing.
1. Install the inner output shaft bearing with the numbered side towards the rear of the transmission case.
  Use Special Service Tool: 204-594 Forcing screw. , 307-648 Remover/Installer, Rear Bearing. , 307-781 Needle bearing remover/Installer.

Using the special tools, install the fluid passage sleeve.
1. Install the fluid passage sleeve with the groved side towards the rear of the transmission case.
  Use Special Service Tool: 204-594 Forcing screw. , 307-648 Remover/Installer, Rear Bearing. , 307-788 Installer, sleeve.

Using the special tools, install the output shaft bearing.
1. Install the output shaft bearing with the numbered side towards the rear of the transmission case.
  Use Special Service Tool: 204-594 Forcing screw. , 307-648 Remover/Installer, Rear Bearing. , 307-789 Installer, sleeve.

All vehicles

Install the line pressure port and rear case plugs.
Torque: 119 lb.in (13.5 Nm)

1. Install the park pawl.
1. NOTE: Make sure the spring is completely engaged on the park pawl.
  Install the park pawl return spring.
1. Install the park pawl shaft.

Install the park pawl shaft plug.
Torque: 17 lb.ft (23 Nm)

Install new park pawl actuator rod sleeve seals and lubricate them with petroleum jelly.

1. Position the park pawl towards the inside of the transmission case.
1. NOTICE: Do not slide the park pawl actuator rod sleeve to far into the transmission case or the inner seal will be damaged.
  Slide the park pawl actuator rod sleeve into the transmission case.
1. NOTE: Align the roll pin seam to the inside of the transmission.
  Using the special tool install the roll pin to the correct depth.
  Use Special Service Tool: 307-745 Installer, Park Sleeve Roll Pin.
