Lincoln Aviator: Climate Control System - General Information / Removal and Installation - Heater Core

Removal

NOTE: If a heater core leak is suspected, the heater core must be leak tested before it is removed from the vehicle.

  1. Remove the climate control housing.
    Refer to: Climate Control Housing (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the screws and the driver side floor duct assembly.
  1. Remove the heater tube dash panel seel, remvoe the screws and the heater tube bracket.
  1. Remove the screws and the heater core cover.
  1. Remove the heater core from the climate cotnrol housing.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
