Lincoln Aviator: Wipers and Washers / Removal and Installation - Wiper Linkage Assembly

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: The hood is removed in this procedure for clarity.

  1. Remove the cowl panel grille.
    Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.
  1. Remove the wiper linkage assembly retainers and the wiper linkage assembly.
    Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
