Lincoln Aviator: Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems / Removal and Installation - Front Door Keyless Entry Antenna

Removal

NOTE: LH (left-hand) side shown, RH (right-hand) side similar.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the wheel and tire.
    Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

  1. Remove the splash shield.
    • Remove the nuts and screws.
    • Remove the bolt and splash shield.
      Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

  1. Remove the front door keyless entry antenna.
    1. Disconnect the front door keyless entry antenna electrical connector.
    1. Remove the rivets and the front door keyless entry antenna.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
