Lincoln Aviator: Front Seats / Removal and Installation - Front Seat Power Lumbar Assembly - Vehicles Without: Multi-Contour Seats
Removal
NOTE:
Driver seat shown, passenger seat similar.

Remove the front seat.
Refer to: Front Seat (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).

Remove the front seat backrest panel.
Refer to: Front Seat Backrest Panel (501-10A Front Seats, Removal and Installation).
Seats with 2-way power lumbar

Remove the front seat power lumbar assembly.

Disconnect the electrical connector.
-
Detach the retainer and position the heated seat electrical connector aside.
-
Detach the upper J-hooks.
-
Detach the lower retainers.
Seats with 4-way power lumbar
-
Remove the front seat power lumbar assembly.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector.
-
Detach the retainer and position the heated seat electrical connector aside.
-
Detach the upper J-hooks.
-
Detach the lower retainer.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the SCMG.
